We are not an employment agency, and caregivers placed through Nova Nannies are not employees of Nova Nannies. Families who hire a caregiver through our platform become the direct employer of that caregiver and are responsible for all applicable employment obligations, including wages, taxes, and compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services or submit an application as a caregiver. By submitting a request or application, you represent that the information provided is accurate and complete.

Screening and Background Checks

While Nova Nannies conducts background checks and reference verification on caregivers in our network as part of our screening process, families are encouraged to conduct their own independent due diligence before finalizing any placement. Nova Nannies does not guarantee the conduct, performance, or suitability of any caregiver and is not liable for any incident, injury, loss, or damage arising from a placement.

Membership and Fees

Membership fees, where applicable, cover access to our matching and placement services and do not include compensation owed directly to caregivers. Fees are outlined at the time of purchase and are subject to the refund and cancellation terms communicated to you separately.

User Conduct

You agree not to use our website or services for any unlawful purpose, to misrepresent your identity or qualifications, or to interfere with the proper functioning of our website.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nova Nannies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services, or from any placement made through our platform.

Intellectual Property
